Transition Diet: A 60-day challenge!

It’s barely the 3rd day of a 60-day transition diet and my mind already feels less foggy. I don’t think I’ve ever described the feeling inside of my skull like that, except for maybe once (when I sprayed some oven cleaner on the stove and didn’t wear a mask).

I mean I’ve had migraines in the past, especially when I lived in the big city, but I did a detox in Mexico that cleaned out my system. The detox was only for two weeks though. My headaches became very minimal, especially after I returned to the states and moved out of the big city.

Now that I’m eating more greens though, it makes sense that I’d call this transition diet a dissipation of brain fog. Maybe I’ve had an underlying issue, that I wasn’t aware would change so quickly with this diet, but I’m just going to leave it at that… I now have a greater reason to stick to the plan.

My great friend started two months ago, on the 9th of May, and went down a few pant sizes. He even lowered his A1C levels.

I started on the 9th of July with a multivitamin, five boiled eggs, and some sunflower seeds. With a kratom capsule in the morning and one in the evening, I didn’t feel hungry throughout the day. I made sure to drink some water too.

By the way, if you’re unfamiliar with kratom – please do your research. Find a reputable health food retailer for it.

I ended up feeling hungry and with a headache that evening. I must have been thirsty. My daughter seemed to notice too because she kept filling up a water bottle that lately I’ve been calling my sippy cup.

So, for dinner, I had two celery sticks and two long carrots. I also had two handfuls of peanuts, two handfuls of walnuts, and two handfuls of sunflower seeds… which later became the rest of the 2 oz bag!

I woke up more clear-headed and a little thirsty early this 11th of July. I had two handfuls of walnuts and the wonderful bag of salad that I mentioned. I also had microwave poached eggs again – two of them.

It feels good to be doing this. I have the same variety of nuts available and I think I’ll have a cucumber for lunch. Now I’m just wondering who else is on a similar plan…
